Key details

Key details

Revit provides tools for designing parametric brick slip cladding and curtain wall systems. This advanced-level course focuses on the techniques required to design such systems.

Sessions include:

  • Project setup
  • Brick slip cladding
  • Curtain walls.

Revit Cladding and Curtain Wall Design training is provided ‘on-request’, i.e. one-to-one training or a ‘closed’ course for your group.

In-class or live online training

Revit Cladding and Curtain Wall Design courses are available in-class at eight centres, at your site or live online.

Accredited Revit training

Armada is an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Revit Cladding and Curtain Wall Design training courses are accredited by Autodesk.

Courses are hosted by an Autodesk Certified Instructor with vast experience of using the application professionally. See Expert trainer.

How will I learn?

Revit training is hands-on and practical.

Our trainer teaches the necessary theory, then demonstrates techniques step-by-step. You then practice the techniques taught on a computer running Revit.

There is plenty of time to ask questions, and you can keep all the files you create.

Training guide and certificate

Course delegates receive an e-certificate confirming successful completion of an accredited Revit training course. This is available to download from your Autodesk Education account, which you’ll create.

Because this training is typically bespoke, tailored to each client’s specific project models, there isn’t an appropriate training guide. Delegates take their own notes through the course.

After course support

Following Revit training, delegates are entitled to 30 days’ email support from their Revit trainer to help with any post-course issues. For further details, see Support.

Prerequisites

You should be familiar with the fundamentals of Revit, i.e. have attended Revit Essentials training or have equivalent knowledge through other means.

Stewart Cobb Autodesk Certified Instructor

Stewart began his working life as a junior draughtsman, and progressed through to Design Director leading a studio of designers working on both 2D and 3D projects.

He then ‘took the plunge’, and began working for himself. For over 25 years, he completed around 100 design projects per year for a myriad of clients, including household names such as Vauxhall and McDonalds.

Stewart is an expert user of a range of Autodesk applications, including Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max and AutoCAD Plant 3D, Civil 3D and Advance Steel. He also specialises in the production of architectural and product rendered images using tools such as V-Ray.

More recently, Stewart has focused on training. He has been an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI) since 2010. In between courses he continues to carry out project work to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and practices.

Outside of work, Stewart enjoys music (he runs the sound desk for a number of local bands), reading and playing with any new piece of technology he can lay his hands on!
